Los Tigres del Norte have been bringing light to the immigrant experience for decades, and their latest appearance at NPR's Tiny Desk was no different. When Felix Contreras – the host of Alt.Latino – introduced the band, it made many of us emotional as he spoke on the attacks our communities have faced. The intro first appeared on NPR's social media, before disappearing... and then being restored again. NPR has since stated that they initially removed the intro over concerns that they potentially violated their own impartiality standards.
